How To Play: 

1. Draw a picture. This can be done by yourself or your child.

2. Name the picture. 

3. Go over the beginning letter and its sound.

2. Create A Obstacle Course

 

How To Play:

1. Gather household items (Balls, hula hoops, cones, flat pieces of wood, etc.)

2. Talk with your child about how they could arrange the items outside and how they will get to each item. Ex: Hula hoops in a straight line with a hop needed to get from one hoop to another. 

3. Create the obstacle course.

4. Complete the obstacle course again and again.

 

This is a great way for children to take the lead and practice the skill of planning, executing, and problem solving.

3. Marble Run- S.T.E.M

​

How To Play:

1. Gather toilet paper rolls, paper towel rolls, Kleenex boxes, painter's tape, leftover cardboard pieces, and a marble/small ball.

2. Decide where you want to build your marble run. This works best on a blank wall or the refrigerator.

3. Talk with your child about how they want to build the marble run. Have them think about where they want the marble to start/ where they want the marble to end. Have them think about the angles they are making.

4. Build the marble run.

5. Run the marble run along the path built. 

6. Repeat with the same path or change it to a new path.
